I worked on Ramped AI – Autofill Job Applications as a Senior Developer, building a personal AI job search assistant designed to streamline and automate job applications. I led development of a Chrome extension that allows users to autofill applications in seconds, including open-ended questions, by learning their skills, experiences, and tone of voice.
My responsibilities included designing and implementing AI-driven autofill features, integrating with multiple ATS systems, and developing a robust backend using Python, React JS, and PostgreSQL. I also ensured that users could save responses, edit answers, and track applications easily. This project required creating an intuitive, high-performance interface that works seamlessly across thousands of job platforms, improving application speed, accuracy, and user experience.
This role strengthened my expertise in AI integration, Chrome extension development, full-stack architecture, and scalable application design, while delivering a product that significantly reduces the time and effort required for job seekers.
The main challenges involved working with diverse job platforms and ATS systems while ensuring user data security and consistent AI behavior. Maintaining speed and accuracy across thousands of job applications was critical.
To solve these challenges, I implemented a flexible AI model capable of learning user preferences and tone, and integrated it tightly with the Chrome extension for real-time autofill. I designed a robust backend using Python and PostgreSQL to manage user data and application tracking efficiently.
Additionally, I created features for saving responses, editing submissions, and tracking applications to enhance user control. Through iterative testing and optimization, the extension became reliable across thousands of sites, providing users with a seamless, time-saving job application experience.
